Since a vacuum does not transport heat, it exceeds the insulating performance of conventional insulation materials by 10 times.

No energy is lost at the lid either. This is ensured by our QOOL Air Seal , which seals the lid and body tightly together. You therefore don't have to worry about it being difficult to handle: we have provided the corners of the body with openings that allow you to open the lid in no time at all.

After our cooling elements have been properly pre-cooled, our cool box maintains a constant temperature for up to 10 days . Passive cooling boxes are usually cooled with batteries or ice. But the QOOL Box is anything but ordinary. It uses temperature elements that are filled with so-called phase change material (PCM).

This liquid stores cold energy over a long period of time and can release it again with almost no loss. PCM is made up of harmless paraffins and salts. All ingredients are safe and suitable for use with food. Depending on the recipe, five different temperature ranges can be maintained.

Standard Frozen (-20 °C to -10 °C): After your trip, do you want to let your friends share in the ice cream craft of an Italian gelateria? Standard Frozen enables the transport of frozen foods such as ice cream.

Standard Cool (-2 °C to +2 °C): Whether you're on a camping trip or a festival weekend - with Standard Cool you always have fresh meat and fish ready for the grill.

Controlled Fresh (+2 °C to +8 °C): Cool drinks or food for breakfast? At these temperatures, you don't have to go without anything when you're on the go.

Whether it's icy conditions for transporting sensitive food or the perfect temperature for grilled food and cold drinks - with our wide range of options you'll stay cool in every situation. And the best thing is: you don't need an additional power supply . The Temperature Elements are also available separately from us. So all you need is one box, which you can easily adapt to your requirements with different cooling elements.

The integrated high-performance insulation not only provides excellent thermal insulation, but is also characterized by its low weight. Together with the automatically folding handles, handling is child's play. Despite the light body, the QOOL cool box can be loaded with 70 kg and can withstand loads of up to 150 kg .

When it comes to robustness, the cool box without electricity has the edge. After all, we completely avoid sensitive electronics and instead rely on maintenance-free and long-lasting components. This also applies to the Temperature Elements, because the excellent cooling performance of the PCM is not lost. Our special Shock Absorber Technology provides additional protection. This protects the box and its contents from damage in the event of falls and shocks.

We offer our passive cool boxes in two sizes. The more compact version, the QOOL Box M, has a capacity of 21 l. It leaves more than enough room for the rest of your equipment on trips with small vehicles and is ideal for use on the go . With a capacity of 30 l, the QOOL Box L has enough reserves for cooling food for several people . In both cases, we have already deducted the space required for the Temperature Elements from the capacity.

The body of our cool box is made of expanded polypropylene, which is not only lightweight and has heat-insulating properties, but is also 100% recyclable . We attach great importance to sustainability, which is why we are particularly proud of our QOOL Box Eco+.

We obtain the necessary material from old plastic. This is shredded and processed in a special recycling process and used to make the body and the lid. This enables us to produce high-quality cool boxes while simultaneously reducing the impact on the environment to a minimum.
