The QOOL Box is a cooler that goes far beyond traditional solutions: It operates entirely without electricity and, thanks to modern vacuum insulation panels combined with custom-fitted Temperature Elements, is capable of maintaining constant refrigerator or freezer temperatures for up to 10 days. Intelligent details such as automatic carrying handles, recessed grips, and hygienically easy-to-clean surfaces ensure maximum ease of use. With Made in Germany quality and a 10-year warranty, the QOOL Box sets the new standard for self-sufficient, sustainable cooling.

The QOOL Bluetooth thermometer makes your cooling smart: It reliably provides you with the current temperature via the app – with alarm functions, a 10-day history, and a long-lasting battery. So you can keep an eye on the temperature of your QOOL box – wherever you are.

Combined in a set, the QOOL Box and Bluetooth thermometer offer maximum independence and full control – for perfect cooling, anytime, anywhere.

Application

For full cooling performance of up to 10 days, use the QOOL Box in combination with our Temperature Elements .

The Temperature Elements are stored at a minimum of -18 °C for at least 12 hours in a freezer or freezer pre-cooled.
The Temperature Elements are positioned on the sides and top of the QOOL Box.
Now place the QOOL Bluetooth thermometer in the box to start monitoring your temperature directly – conveniently via the app.

For a cooling period of up to 5 days, fewer Temperature Elements are needed. (QOOL Box M - 2 Elements / QOOL Box L - 4 Elements)

Done! The elements now reliably and consistently keep the contents within the selected temperature range – completely without electricity.

The Qool Box is truly fantastic and keeps drinks, food, and snacks cool for days without constantly being plugged in. Perfect for your entire vacation, camping, or relaxing in the garden. Even though the box was originally purchased for longer outdoor retreats, it's still used time and again in everyday life and delights family and friends. Whether you need additional refrigerated storage space for a large family gathering or just need to quickly grab some ice cream or cake when the outside temperature is 36 degrees Celsius, the box is always there and brings a lot of joy!

Ideal refrigerator without electricity

It's worked perfectly; everything stayed at the desired temperature for over four days. Most importantly, it no longer puts a strain on the car battery. Once, after a long trip on a Baltic Sea ferry, our previous combustion engine car wouldn't start because of the compressor refrigerator, and we needed a jump start. The Qool is truly ideal for an electric car. I highly recommend purchasing the Ruuvi temperature gauge as well. A tremendous development both in terms of energy and ecology. Not cheap, but worth every cent.

Absolutely great product that meets all expectations.

Last week, at temperatures over 38 degrees Celsius, the box kept its contents cool for seven days. It's also worth mentioning that the box was in our motorhome, which, in the heat, had an internal temperature of over 42 degrees Celsius at times. Great product.

Does the QOOL cool box only maintain the temperature if you don't open it?

The QOOL box achieves its impressive thermal insulation performance through the use of vacuum insulation panels that are installed on all sides, in the lid and in the base of the box. In combination with the QOOL Temperature Elements, the temperature inside can be kept constant for several days. The box can be opened several times without any problem, as long as the lid is closed in such a way that no air exchange takes place.

Does the QOOL cool box also work with standard ice packs or ice cubes?

Thanks to specially developed PCM recipes, the QOOL Temperature Elements are suitable for various temperature ranges. All ingredients are harmless and suitable for use with food.

Standard Frozen (-20 °C to -10 °C) | For transporting all frozen foods and perfect for ice cream.

Standard Cool (-2 °C to +2 °C) | Particularly suitable for sensitive refrigerated goods such as fresh fish and meat.

Controlled Fresh (+2 °C to +8 °C) | Suitable for storing fruit, vegetables, dairy products, drinks and temperature-sensitive medicines.

How should the Temperature Elements be properly pre-cooled?

Standard Frozen (-20 °C to -10 °C) Please freeze the Temperature Elements in a freezer/chest freezer at a temperature of at least -18 °C for at least 72 hours. Remove the Temperature Elements from the freezer/chest freezer. The inside of the elements should now be solid. The Temperature Elements are immediately ready for use and can be used with the QOOL Box.

How do I optimally place the Temperature Elements in the QOOL Box?

For the QOOL Box M, which can cool for up to 10 days without electricity, we recommend the maximum configuration with 4 temperature elements of the same size (1 liter). Place one element upright on the sides of the handles and place the other two elements on top of the food. The two top elements have the greatest effect, as cold air sinks downwards and flows through all the refrigerated goods. If you are only away for 3-5 days, 2 of the 4 temperature elements are sufficient. These can then be conveniently placed on the side, but should be placed on top of the refrigerated goods for optimal cooling.

For the QOOL Box L, which can cool for up to 10 days without electricity, a surround system (cooling cube) with 6 temperature elements is recommended. There are 2 different element parts: 2 square elements (for the base and lid) and 4 side elements. Place one of the large elements on the base of the box. Then add the 4 side elements with the straight side facing the respective wall. Finally, simply place the lid on top. Here, too, not all elements are necessary for 3-5 days.

Which box size is suitable for how many people?

QOOL Box M: This variant is ideal for 2-3 people. It has a filling volume of 27 liters (22 liters with Temperature Elements). This volume allows for a food supply for about a week to 10 days. Alternatively, the box offers enough space for up to 16 bottles with a capacity of 0.5 liters.

QOOL Box L: If you are a group of 4 people or more, we recommend the larger QOOL Box L with a capacity of 43 liters (33 liters with Temperature Elements). This generous size makes it easy to store 24 0.5 liter bottles and offers enough space for drinks and food for a weekend trip with the family.

If the larger temperature elements of the QOOL Box L do not fit in your freezer compartment, we also offer a set of 6 temperature elements of size M. You can find these under accessories. It is recommended that you pack the QOOL Box as completely as possible, as this optimises the cooling performance and can keep it cool for up to 10 days. Choose the box size according to your requirements and the number of people to ensure the best user experience.
