On the go with the QOOL cutting board
The QOOL cutting board makes your outdoor adventure even more comfortable. The cutting board was made to fit the QOOL Box lid perfectly so that it does not slip when cutting and is stable.
If you want to cut juicy fruit and vegetables or meat on the board, the practical juice groove is the perfect place to collect any liquids. If you don't need the juice groove, the board can simply be turned over.
As with our QOOL boxes, sustainability is of central importance for our accessories. Our chopping boards are lovingly handcrafted in the Spessart region. The wood used for production comes from carefully selected, sustainable forestry. Each of the boards is also labelled with an individually stamped number, making it possible to identify the products.
The right care for your board
Proper care is very important so that you can enjoy your chopping board for as long as possible.
After use
Once you have cut meat or fish on the chopping board, the board should be briefly rinsed with hot water on both sides. Both sides should be evenly wet so that the board does not warp when it dries.
The board should then be stood upright and leant against something so that it can dry well on both sides.
If an unpleasant odour sticks to the board, for example from onions and garlic, you can remedy this with baking soda. To do this, first clean both sides of the board with water and then rub it with baking soda. After a short exposure time, the board can be washed off again.
What you should not doOLD
The board should never be cleaned in the dishwasher. You should also be careful with extremely serrated or sharp knives. This could cause deep cuts in the wood.
Extra care
If larger nicks or discolouration do occur on the board as a result of use, the surface can be sanded with 120 grit sandpaper. However, you should not forget to oil the board again afterwards. Linseed oil and walnut oil are particularly suitable for this, as these oils do not become rancid and dry out in the air. The oil should be spread sparingly and evenly over the wood.

How does the cooler work?
Our cooling technology is not comparable to other cooling boxes. Vacuum insulation technology is used in space travel and in the healthcare system for organ transport.
The QOOL® technology
For the QOOL Box, vacuum insulation panels are used in all components, which insulate 10 times better than conventional insulation materials. The cooling box can also be described as a large thermos flask in box format.
The Temperature Elements serve as cooling elements and are placed in the box. They contain completely harmless ingredients made of phase change material. Different temperature ranges - from deep-freeze to room temperature - are constantly maintained. They are also suitable for use with food.

How do I cool the QOOL® Temperature Elements properly?
Please freeze the Temperature Elements in a freezer/chest freezer at a temperature of at least – 18 °C for at least 72 hours. Please take the Temperature Elements out of the freezer/chest freezer. The interior of the elements should now be solid. The Temperature Elements are ready for use immediately and can be used with the QOOL Box.
Please freeze the Temperature Elements in a freezer/chest freezer at a temperature of at least -18 °C for at least 12 hours. Please take the Temperature Elements out of the freezer/chest freezer. The interior of the elements should now be solid. The Temperature Elements are ready for use immediately and can be used with the QOOL® Box.
