Insulation technology from space travel

From the outside, the QOOL box makes a simple impression, but inside there are fascinating technologies that will inspire you every time you use it. As a basis for outstanding cooling performance, we rely on vacuum insulation panels on all sides. Since a vacuum does not transport heat, it exceeds the insulating performance of conventional insulation materials by a factor of 10.

No energy is lost on the lid either. This is ensured by our QOOL Air Seal, which tightly seals lid and body together. So you don't have to worry about difficult handling: We have provided the corners of the body with handles that allow you to open the lid in no time at all.

After proper pre-cooling of our cooling elements, our cooler keeps temperatures constant for up to 10 days. This means that long trips - even in permanently hot climates - are no longer a challenge. Efficient cooler without electricity

Usually, passive coolers are cooled with batteries or ice. But the QOOL Box is anything but ordinary. It uses temperature elements filled with so-called phase change material (PCM).

This liquid stores cold energy over a long period of time and can release it again almost without loss. PCM is composed of harmless paraffins and salts. All ingredients are harmless and suitable for use with food. Depending on the recipe, five different temperature ranges can be maintained.

• Deep Frozen (-25 °C to -15 °C): Our coldest Temperature Elements are suitable for professional use. Ideal for caterers who want to transport sensitive food over long distances.
• Standard Frozen (-20 °C to -10 °C): After your outing, do you want to share the ice-cream craft of an Italian gelateria with your friends? Standard Frozen allows you to transport frozen foods such as ice cream.
• Standard Cool (-2 °C to +2 °C): Whether it's a camping trip or a festival weekend - with Standard Cool you always have fresh meat and fish ready for the barbecue.
• Controlled Fresh (+2 °C to +8 °C): Cool drink or food for breakfast? With these temperatures, you don't have to do without anything when you're on the road.
• Room Temperature (+18 °C to +25 °C): Consistency is not only essential for refrigeration. You can store or transport wine at room temperature, for example.

Whether it's icy conditions for transporting sensitive food or the perfect temperature for barbecued food and cold drinks - with our wide range of variants, you'll stay cool in every situation. And the best thing is: you don't need an additional power supply. The Temperature Elements are also available separately. So all you need is a box that you can easily adapt to your requirements with different cooling elements.

Camping cooler - light and robust

The integrated high-performance insulation is not only convincing with its excellent heat insulation, but is also characterised by its low weight. Together with the automatically folding carrying handles, handling is child's play. Despite the light body, the QOOL cooler can be loaded with 70 kg and withstand loads of up to 150 kg.

As far as robustness is concerned, the cooler without electricity is ahead. After all, we do without sensitive electronics altogether and instead rely on maintenance-free and durable components. This also applies to the Temperature Elements, because the excellent cooling performance of the PCM is not lost. Our special Shock Absorber Technology provides additional protection. This protects the box and its contents from damage in the event of drops and shocks.

QOOL coolers in different sizes

We offer our passive coolers in two sizes. The more compact version, the QOOL Box M, has a filling volume of 21 litres. It leaves more than enough room for the rest of the equipment on trips with small vehicles and is ideal for use on the road. With a filling volume of 30 l, the QOOL Box L has sufficient reserves for cooling food for several people. In both cases, we have already deducted the space required for the Temperature Elements from the capacity.

Our sustainability claim

The body of our cooling box is made of expanded polypropylene, which is not only characterised by its light weight and heat-insulating properties, but also by its 100% recyclability . We attach great importance to the issue of sustainability, which is why we are particularly proud of our QOOL Box Eco+.

We obtain the necessary material from old plastic. It is shredded in a special recycling process, reprocessed and used to make the body and lid. This enables us to produce high-quality coolers while keeping the impact on the environment to a minimum.
