The QOOL brand, under which passive coolers for private use are marketed, can be pleased about 2 prestigious awards for the QOOL Box: With its high-tech cooler, which keeps drinks and food cool for up to ten days without an external power supply, it has won the German Innovation Award and the Deutschland Favorit award in the Sport and Hobby category. 
The German Innovation Award is presented annually by the German Design Council. Created by the German Bundestag and endowed by German industry, the German Design Council promotes the competitiveness of companies. Since 1953, the awards of the German Design Council have honored design, brand and innovation achievements of international standing. This year, the competition celebrates its 70th anniversary. Each year, the jury, consisting of top-class representatives of German business and science, selects innovations that impress with their new, forward-looking technologies. A total of 650 entries from 22 countries took part in the award. 
For the Deutschland Favorit award , which is presented by the Süddeutsche Zeitungs-Institut and Statista, the basis for the award is a consumer survey. Subsequently, the applications are secured by a council of experts. The QOOL Box L scores best among the respondents in the dimensions of functionality, quality and sustainability. The technology on which the QOOL Box is based is also used, among other things, in space travel: vacuum insulation panels, so-called VIPs, are installed in the side walls, base and lid and ensure the exceptionally long temperature retention time. They insulate around 10 times better than conventional insulation materials and are particularly durable. 
The high-tech boxes are manufactured by hand and exclusively at the German production site and headquarters in Würzburg. With its boxes, QOOL has made it its mission to create a sustainable companion that can hold food and drinks for 10 days without electricity. The recent awards confirm the high quality and appealing design, as well as the powerful technology of the QOOL boxes.
