This product, the QOOL Box, is covered by a seller's warranty (see below for further information and warranty details!)
Warranty conditions
In addition to your statutory warranty rights, we, va-Q-tec AG, grant you a 10-year warranty (" Warranty Period ") on the insulation of this QOOL Box. The warranty period begins on the date of the invoice for your purchase of the QOOL Box from us. The warranty applies if you purchased the QOOL Box directly from us through our online shop and are resident in one of our delivery countries at the time of asserting a warranty claim.
Our delivery countries are: Germany, the Netherlands and Austria.
Furthermore, the guarantee requires
- that you purchased the QOOL Box from us as a consumer, i.e. the purchase of the QOOL Box was made for purposes that could predominantly neither be attributed to your commercial nor your independent professional activity, and
- the QOOL Box is not used for commercial purposes or for self-employed professional activities.
Should the box no longer insulate during the warranty period, we, as the guarantor, will grant you one of the following services at our discretion:
- free repair of the QOOL Box or
- Free exchange of the QOOL Box for an equivalent item (or a successor model if the original QOOL Box is no longer available).

Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage to the QOOL Box caused by:
- abusive or improper treatment
- Environmental influences (rockfall, embers, fire, etc.)
- Failure to observe any safety precautions
- Failure to follow the instructions for use
- Use of violence (e.g. cuts, blows, pushes, falls)
- unauthorized repair attempts
- normal wear and tear
The warranty period is not extended by a warranty claim, meaning that the warranty period does not restart for a QOOL Box repaired or replaced under the warranty. To make a warranty claim, you, as the guarantor, must notify us of the warranty claim within the warranty period and, upon our request, allow us to examine the warranty claim by sending in the QOOL Box. Please ensure that appropriate packaging is used to prevent damage during transport.
To apply for warranty service, you, as the guarantor, must provide us, upon request, with a copy of the original invoice for the purchase of the QOOL Box. Please understand that we may refuse warranty service if you do not comply with this request, as the invoice copy is used to calculate the warranty period.
In any case, the warranty process is freight-free. We will reimburse you for any shipping costs you may incur. If the QOOL Box requires removal for shipping, we will cover the costs.
Note: This warranty does not limit your statutory rights in the event of defects, and you may exercise them free of charge. Any existing statutory warranty rights against us remain unaffected by this warranty.
